Compatibility with other browsers Did we check out the website on other browsers? It is worth checking if, apart from the most popular Explorer, the website looks correctly also in Netscape, Mozilla and Opera. Be sure to test the website on the older versions (5.0, 5.5, 6.0) of Internet Explorer.

Compatibility with other settings Did we test the wesbite using different browser settings (eg. different font size, different resolution/window size)? Every visitor’s computer is configured in a unique way and you should make sure that nobody will be unpleasantly surprised with – for example – bad-looking text flow.

Usability testing Before the launch of a website show it to some of your colleagues, ideally observing silently how are they doing. You can then notice which elements of the site cause problems and try to redesign them. Don’t worry much about all the suggestions, though, for example usually there’s always someone saying “I don’t like these colours.”
